Christmas “Pantries” for people in need (Mexico)

  Central America Region

Among the activities undertaken in the Del Valle Dispensary (Mexico City), in December, food packs or “pantries” with more products than what are usually given every month were distributed among families.

To achieve this goal, the Lay Claretian group of Mexico City took the challenge to promote donations. The parishioners of the temples served by the Claretian Missioners shown their generosity by contributing many products and, on Saturday 5 December, volunteers from the Dispensary helped to distribute them among people in need.
Mario, the Permanent Deacon who supports the Claretian Missioners of Mary´s Heart Parish, delivered the Christmas meditation that introduced the activity and which focused on the event of the birth of Baby Jesus.

From Mexico, we are grateful to everybody who helped, demonstrating their solidarity with those most in need.
