Bruno La Hoz, a member of he Meraki community in Lima (Peru) has been appointed by the General Council as Delegate for Vocation Promotion for the Movement. With this service of new creation in its organizational structure, the General Council intends to dynamize and vertebrate the action of the Movement in the animation of new secular evangelizers, making the Claretian charism known to those who have not yet discovered their vocation and charismatic identity.
Born in Lima, Peru, Bruno has been in pastoral service for 15 years. His work has been developed mainly with and for young people from different backgrounds. In the year 2019 he was appointed as head of the Claretian Leadership Training School and in charge of the Youth Pastoral area of the PJVC of Peru. Likewise, he has held the position of Coordinator of Youth Ministry and Vocation Ministry in different opportunities in the Parish of San Miguel Archangel of Lima and at the level of the Diocese of Callao as Regional Delegate. Since 2011 he has been part of the National Mission and Spirituality team of the Peruvian Episcopal Conference.
The promotion of the Lay Claretian charism and of the Movement is one of the strategic lines approved by the General Assembly of Medellín and which are proposed as objectives for this next quadrennium. In his function as delegate, Bruno will be in charge of configuring and leading a team of vocation promotion that will seek to define criteria, to impel initiatives and to dynamize the action that the Movement develops in order to invite and to facilitate the vocational clarification from the Claretian secular charism.
