Our North Region has had the opportunity to meet this year 2015 in the beautiful city of San Sebastian.
After the arrival on Friday evening of the different groups from their respective cities, a warm welcome and a deserved rest, on Saturday morning we had the presence of José Cristo Rey CMF, one of the best Spanish theologians. We treat the topic “New wine into new wineskins”, which was discussed in Granada during the General Assembly this summer. The core of the formation has been asking us what are the new scenaries for the Mission and the Spirit which moves us to this.
We were also informed of the summary of the General Chapter of the Claretian Missionaries and their meeting with the Pope. To conclude, we must adapt ourselves to contemporary world. We must be witnesses of the Gospel as Good News and not to be obsolete in expired containers. Lay Claretians have a Mission led by the Spirit, and without this Mission there is no Church.
In the afternoon, we had leisure time to do tourism, we walked around the city and even enjoyed some delicious “pintxos” and “zuritos”.
Weekend to life together, culminating with the entry into the Movement of Emma and Castor who came from the Bereshit Community in Bilbao.
Weekend of growth and strengthening in the faith to recharge batteries into these new scenarios and acting as Lay Claretians who can cooperate to build the local church as a community of faith, hope and humility (Ideology 21).
Thanks for your willingness, support and hard work.
