Last February 2025, the members of the Caribbean Regional Council visited various communities in the Dominican Republic. This visit began on the 14th, in the San José Parish, in San Francisco de Macorís, with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Father Juan Andrés Hidalgo, Cmf. Concelebrating were Fr. Jairo Pérez, Cmf and Fr Maxo Deraxin, Cmf. In this ceremony, 5 brothers from the Testimony Community and 4 from the Community of Angels of the Lord were admitted. At the end of such an emotional celebration we had a fraternal sharing. Thank you for your welcome and attention.
On February 15, 2025 we met with the Petrus Community in Fusimaña. Who with a lot of strength and love organized a welcoming space so that we could have a fraternal dialogue and then share. Thank you Petrus Community and Father Raúl, advisor of the community, for your welcome and lodging.
On the night of February 15, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the San Antonio María Claret Parish in Puerto Plata, we attended a beautiful celebration presided over by Bishop Julio César Corniel Amado and concelebrated by Fr. Juan, parish priest, and Fr. Jairo Pérez, Cmf, who in the homily highlighted the qualities of the Lay Claretian and urged us to follow the vocation of our Patron Saint Anthony Mary Claret, through the Claretian Lay Movement. Cordimarian Missionaries and Missionaries of the Claretian Institution present in the Dominican Republic also participated. In this celebration, 8 Lay People were admitted to the Charisma Community and also a member of the Genesis Community. Then we had a fraternal sharing. Thank you all for your welcome and love.
With a grateful heart we welcome these new brothers. May the Spirit of Saint Anthony Mary Claret continue to guide us to follow Jesus Christ from this great family.
