XV. Regional Assembly of Northern Spain. Zaragoza, November 2024

From November 15 to 17, 2024, the XV Regional Assembly was held in Zaragoza under the motto “From living water to burning fire.” The regional councilor has been re-elected and continues to be:

  • Paola Dapena- Regional Secretary
  • Aurora Álvarez (Mayu) – Formation  Secretary
  • Jorge González. Economy Secretary
  • Juan Lozano cmf. Adviser

The council presented the reports for the 2021-2022 triennium and the lines of action for the period 2024-2027 were approved

Lines of action

  1. VOCATION – IDENTITY – TRAINING

Local Scope

    • Formation topics will be proposed from the different communities, and the Council will choose one of these as a common thread throughout the year to work on it in the communities and in the training meeting (if it is that year).
    • That the communities communicate in the Volandera Sheet those SOMI (Solidarity and Mission) projects in which they participate.
    • Send to the person responsible for the website, through the Council, those articles from the Hoja volandera that are of general interest to the movement.

Regional Scope

    • Training topics will be proposed from the different communities, and the Council will choose one of these as a common thread throughout the year to work on it in the communities and in the training meeting (if it is that year).
    • Flying Blade Improvements:
      • Use the Flying Blade as a training element.
      • Send the Flying Leaf to the different representatives of the Claretian Family.
    • Sending training material for strong liturgical times.
    • Continue participating as much as possible in Claretian Family meetings.

2. MISSION – ECONOMY

Local Scope

    • Be more present in other forums of lay life (CONFER, lay forums, Together we are +,…).
    • Communicate in the Hoja volandera the missionary projects with which you are collaborating, whether related to the movement or not.

Regional Scope

    • Continue subsidizing the meetings
    • Help communities in difficulty.

3. SPIRITUALITY

Local Scope

    • Use the Volandera Leaf as an instrument of prayer, reflection, keeping in mind the events and life of the communities,
    • Share materials with the Regional Council to have a resource bank on the website.

3. COMMUNITY – REGION – MOVEMENT

Local Scope

    • Follow up on the conclusions of the Synod of Synodality to analyze the development and impact on our Church and our society.
    • Maintain meetings with nearby communities.
    • Present the Lay Claretian Movement in those places of the Claretian Family where youth ministry +18 and adult ministry work.

Regional Scope

    • Facilitate mutual knowledge among people who are in the process of discernment to enter the movement.
    • Holding an online meeting prior to the next regional meeting to present both the objective of that meeting and the Movement to people close to and discerning.
    • Present the Lay Claretian Movement in those places of the Claretian Family where youth ministry +18 and adult ministry work.
