Natalia Padrones, Fr. Charles Ninganza and Bernardeta Arbaiza
On September 1st, as Fr. Charles Ninganza CMF -adviser of Lay Claretian groups of Kinshasa (Congo)- was passing through Bilbao (Spain), we take the time to have a brief meeting with him. Fortunately, the secretary of the Northern Region, Natalia Padrones speaks some French and helped us to translate, which was a great help.
Unfortunately Lay Claretian delegation from Congo could not attend the IX Granada General Assembly by visa problems and Father Charles was very interested in talking to some representation of the LCM to know how we work and how groups from Congo could join the Movement. They are very active groups that already have a good track training into Claretian charism and this June 2015 have even had a first meeting of groups of Lay Claretians of Congo.
It was a nice time of fraternal meeting with the added illusion of knowing that there are so many people interested in the Movement. F. Charles’ desire is to convey the experience and knowledge from Congo groups to other African countries to promote the LCM and create in that area of Africa a strong core group of Lay Claretians.
I hope that the Holy Spirit will continue encouraging and make possible this beautiful dream of Claret.
Bernardeta Arbaiza, General Secretary MSC
